Humminbird mega 360

Mega 360 says it’s only available for 45 or 54. Can you cut down your 60 to get it to work or is there anyway to get it to work with a 60?

There is only one 360 pole length for each mount type. If you need a 60” motor shaft, the pole will not be long enough to have the pod submerged.

I cut my 60” Ultrex down to 52” and my G1 360 works perfectly. I assume the M360 will too if it ever gets to me.

I’m running a gen 1 360 on a 60” Fortrex. Works great. I believe the Mega version is the same length? With that said, I’ll be ordering the Utrex version of the Mega 360 and using my original Fortrex mount, per Wayne’s suggestion. Figure that Minn Kota will be coming out with a brushless version of the Ultrex soon, which will be my next boat upgrade.

I extended the length of the shaft using a shaft and coupling from Cornfieldcrappie as I have it on a stick and when used on my bay boat it is a long way to the water on the bow. Don
