All these questions are from annual maintenance sticky.

Is the air compressor filter that is reffered to in post #1, part #853333T ??

The manual calls to "replace all filters on the suction side of the fuel system." is the water seperating fuel filter the only one?

you say to "replace water pump impeller and gaskets (at a minimum)", is this a yearly recommended item?

is fogging oil or dfi oil better for storage?

DO NOT use fogging oil in an Optimax, the "fogging" procedure is covered in the annual maintenance FAQ topic - Recommended Annual Maintenance or Winterization for Optimax Engines

Check that and post back with any questions.

That is current p/n for air filter according to Mercury's online parts catalog.

Should get your WOT rpm closer to 5650 - 5700 for best performance.
