Can a helix 12 gen 1 be linked to helix 10 gen 3 ?

Yes but the data sharing will be less than with another G3N or G2N.

You don't need to attach a transducer to the unit to have a Chart Plotter. Just turn Sonar OFF and it will be become a Chart Plotter. You can still share waypoints, GPS, and some sonar functions.

So my setup will be a helix 10 and a helix 12 on the console and another helix 12 at the bow, I will need the 5 port hub and each unit will need it's own ethernet cable ran to the hub withe dongle adapters correct?
