Helix10 Chirp Mega DI GPS G2N Software update version question

GM All.. Long overdue but time to update software on above unit currently on Software version 1.54. In addition to the Helix 10 with XTM9 MDI T , I have Ultrex, 5 port Ethernet switch and 1199 Networked. I do not have 360 today, possible in the future. My question, before going to version 2.180 should I update to a older / intermediate version or can I go straight to 2.180, seems they used to recommend not skipping too many versions.

any help / advice appreciated.

Go to the latest version of software. That would be v2.18 since you said a 360 is possible in your future. If not, go to v2.11. Only difference between the two is support for the new Mega 360.
