No network questions

I have a Helix 7 and a Helix 9 and both are G3N models. I am not getting any info across the network. Waypoints are nit sharing, no GPS data, nothing. Both units are connected with an ethernet cable and adapter at each end. Both are updated.

Any suggestions?

hi 06 sb, first question is. Is that the total rig setup? Do you have an ultrex trolling motor with I-Pilot?

Did you go thru the setup after updates and cable runs? I'm sure Wayne will have the answers, but you need to give your entire
hardware setup for it to be accurate.

I have neither ultrex nor other graphs on the boat. It is set up just like the link you posted with an additional GPS (AS GPS HS) puck up on the bow plugged into the bow unit.

I did go through all the setup settings but feel like I missed something somewhere. I have pulled the ethernet cable out to check the connection points of the adapters and both were tight. I have sharing waypoints on but they do not.

One other question, did you fly one of those Hawkeyes'?

Possible defective cable or adapter.
Sharing waypoints is the default setting.

Just to finalize this thread. I bought a new dongle and a new Ethernet cable. After troubleshooting, it is a bad ethernet cable. Now I just have to run the new cable in the gunnel.
