    The last C7 off the line was also auctioned for charity. Brought 2.7 million. Be nice to have them both.

    I watched the bidding, very nice car. I wonder if being 001 the factory took extra special care assembling it or did it just go through the line like all the rest of the cars.

    the car is not even built yet. the car at the auction was a prototype.

    I'm sure every C8 corvette is going to get extra care when assembled
