In short I will say, I love it and my batteries are always topped off.
Long review:
my current setup:
Skeeter FX20
4 Solix 12’s
HB 360
3 Battle Born Batteries
1 Group 31 AGM
graphs have 8 gauge wire running to a bus bar and power leads from the Units are about 1.5’
So our lakes around here are small, typically no longer than a mile long or maybe a little longer. I thought this would be best to test out on being I rarely run the big motor and in the winter it’s just the family and I sitting in a spot crappie fishing. That being said it’s not unrealistic to say that we will just spot lock in a spot for 1-2 hours. Also my kids like to play with the graphs so I run all four without going on standby.
I always had issues with my graphs turning off with the big motor on after sitting in a spot for long periods of time. So I measured voltage at the bus bar furthest from the motor and also check what the graphs read. They were always consistent and rarely dropped more than .1v.
after 5 days of fishing running very little on the big motor I have not had one graph turn off when I powered on my big motor. That is great news to me. Without charging my batteries it has read consistently 98% or higher charge anytime I check it When I’m not running. I watch the app and it it prioritized to the starting battery.
overall I will say....
it was a pretty big chunk of coin to buy a charger but at the same time if it keeps my batteries topped off and my graphs never shut down without using standby mode, then it is definitely worth it.
just my two cents, I hope that sheds some light on the Power Pole Charge.
lastly, I am not sponsored by anybody, I don’t fish tournaments, just love spending time on the water and sharing my passions with my kids.
also a shout out to K&K Kustomz and Kevin for being able to get me one when they were sold out, never met the guy but he seems very honest, transparent and easy to work with.
