    Resolution

How much difference will I notice between 1280x800 and 1024x600 pixels on 10" screens when watching livescope?? Is it worth the difference $$ wise?

The 93 I can’t really tell a difference from my 1042 other than the screen is bigger which is nice

Look up the specs for a 93 sv and a 922 I can certainly see a difference and it is extreme when kneeling and making adjustments.

let me add to this I know the box is doing the work but for some reason I would say the 93 sv has more resolution than its displaying, almost like it is a processing power deal or intentional sabotage by garmin. Looks like Nintendo 64 vs ps4 video games. (Blocky base but in the blocks half are lit up some for no reason where as what your looking at is bright. On the 922 I don't have any blocky bs lit up. Idk I played with my buddies 93sv a while and couldn't improve what he had. This is only 2 units, I did play with a 10" and it appeared more like the 93 but that unit/system has a known problem with "it specifically" like a damaged transducer or something)

I agree to my eye the livescope signal is just not that detailed. As in the 93sv has more resolution than the livescope signal does. With that said the bigger brighter display of the ultras and gpsmaps does make a difference. Not sure pixel density is the cause though.

I should have clarified. A GPSMAP 1022xsv $1400 (1024x600) and a Ultra 106sv $1700 (1280x800). I have been led to believe that the 1022 is a stand alone unit just for LS. Which is all I need. But I was wondering if the 106 would have better clarity seeing fish with the higher resolution?

Don't consider the 106 based on its resolution. Consider it based on its taller screen. A “taller” screen will win over better resolution IMO. People need to compare screen dimensions when comparing units. A 1022 is nearly the same height as a 93 and 1” +- wider. Money well spent on a 106 which has a taller screen than a 1022. 35-40 ft horizontal distance is about the limit for most applications with LS so a wider screen like the 1022 is of no benefit. A taller screen allows you to see that 35-40 ft in more detail when using manual depth/forward range settings.
If I looked good in spandex and my boats paint had glitter, I’d fish for bass.
