Running new Transducer cable on zx 190

Installing new transducer, for those who have tackled this project how did you access the transom to run the new cable. Looked at gap where rub rails meet at the top of jackplate, but that would be difficult because of lack of room to drill. Never been a transducer mounted on transom before, it is a 08 ZX 190. Suggestions appreciated and any photos!
    Thanks

Thanks, was able to wallow out the existing access enough to get end of cable through, but old temp probe didn't fair very well.

Did the same on my ZX200. Used a dremel with a sanding drum to enlarge the hole.

Yep, did the same with my 2008 ZX190. Had to make the rub rail hole a bit larger. When I mounted my Talons, I also went through the same location for the wires.
