I have an 04 with 172,000 and an 06 with 150,000. I will drive them till they can’t be driven or are not dependable. I hate to shop for vehicles. Neither use oil or have any leaks of any kind on the concrete when parked.

Dang I though 19 years was a long time for the truck I just traded off a couple months ago. Typically I buy something that is only a couple years old or relatively new then I drive it for several years. Now I must also add that I have always owned two vehicles since my teenage years and I don't put many miles per year on a vehicle. Example the truck I just traded was a 99 that I bought in 01 with around 30,000 mile. In late 2019 when I traded it there was 144K on the odometer. My current daily driver car is an 06 that I bought in 08 with around 30,000 miles and 12 years later it has 154K.
The first car I ever bought when I was 16 I would guess I drove for 10 plus years. The first truck I bought when I was 19 I also drove 10 or more years. I have been driving almost 34 years and have only owned a handful of vehicles.
I usually keep my trucks for at least 5-8yrs or 180k - 200k miles.

Have my 2007 Silverado I bought new that is rusting away with 215,000 on it. It seems to have finally stopped using oil since I started using Walmart synthetic and the transmission still kicks me in the ass at stop sometimes, but like a sore peter, I ain't gonna screw with it as long as it works otherwise. I do wish the AC worked better but it never was any good.
Bambi committed suicide on the front bumper a few weeks ago but didn't hurt it much.
