Those look really nice, especially compared to what comes on most trailers.

Previous options were varying degrees of quality for galvanized steel brackets that start corroding in a few years.

On the 2X4 size, do you know the hole spacing? Thank you.

Your going to either move the existing boards slightly to drill new pilot holes for the lag bolts or replace the boards.

Looking at the supreme ultimate bunk boards and they require 2” spacing. Figured I might as well replace the brackets while I am doing it.

I was thinking the same thing. An easy task.

I replaced mine this past week since they were original brackets on the 2003 trailer and rust was looking really bad. Bought a piece of 2"x2" x 1/4" aluminum angle and did mine. 12 brackets at 5". Very easy.

Aluminum should not be used for bunk brackets. It's to soft.
