Flo-Torq II/Tempest Plus on Yamaha

I picked up a Tempest Plus for my Yamaha 2-Stroke 150 Vmax. I had an extra Flo-Torq II hub kit
Part # 835257K 6 laying around. The instructions show a different kit with a two piece thrust washer for the 4 strokes but say nothing about 2 strokes so I assume it will work?? My question is will this hub kit work on my motor? Thanks

You need kit number 835271Q2 for your motor. The hub kit you have is for a mercury motor and if you look at the nut you'll see it's not a castle nut with a cotter pin that the Yamaha uses to keep the prop on and it has the wrong thrust washer in the kit. Don't try to use it or you'll run into problems getting it to mount properly.
