At the moment i have a Helix 7 on the trolling motor and a 1198C Si at the dash. I just got a Helix 12gen2 Si. My question is. Do I sell the 1198 and keep the Helix 7 and network? Or do I sell the Helix 7 and keep the 1198 at the dash....? What would the going rate be if I sold the 1198?
Helix 7 can be repaired at Humminbird. Going rate for a used 1198 about $550.

"Repaired" means all the Helix 7 models are still on the flat rate repair list.Originally Posted by slim
The 1198 has been removed from that list and Humminbird will not repair it if needed. It is 5 generations old.
It would make more sense to keep the newest model IF the Helix 7 is networkable. You did not state which one of the almost two dozen Helix 7's you have.
