One or two screens with 360.

For those who have used the 360.
Soon to have a new 360 and helix 12.. I fish mostly offshore structure so a chart and depth finder are my eyes. Will a single 12" unit be sufficient to use 360 + chart + 2d at the same time or is that even a view option.. Got a feeling i'll need two screens.. Opinions ?

I started with one screen and went with 2. Much more enjoyable with 2. I run a 12 helix and 9 helix. If money wasn’t a question I’d do 2 12’s.

I didn't want the clutter of 2 on the bow, so I did a 15 on the bow and a 12 on the dash. Works good for me.

How deep do you fish offshore? I have seen the mega 360 and have run the old 360 for sometime. I would say in the 15-20 foot range my livescope takes over and has the clear advantage for offshore. If targeting schools and doing any amount of drop shotting it's is easily the winner. Actually for targeting schools of fish at 10-15 feet it's tough to beat.

Above that and for fishing weed lines, creek ledges, ect the 360 is king!

My 360/LS combo is a killer. I had exactly the same questions and fish mostly offshore. I ended up with an H12 for the 360 and mapping along with a LS and 12 inch garmin. I am 100% sure I made the correct choice on the bow.

Thanks pfisher, I don't have LS but 360 with panoptix PS-30 and PS-31. Use the 360 for staying along weed edge or drop offs. Mega is looking very nice
