    tm lower unit

    what years are gen 1 and what year are gen 2 on the tm lower unit, thanks

    Mercury does not use "years"- so that's probably not a viable method of answering your question. Additionally, the Gen-1 TM gearcase is still built today (just not available on any current production engine).

    The Gen-2 first showed up near the end of 2011 on 225/250 ProXS engines (on specific ProXS model numbers).
