    Jackplate

    Anyone running a jackplate on a 186 with a 150 4 stroke?

    Ran a 4" jp on my 186 w/175 wouldn't own a boat without one.

    What year 186? 2005 era is totally different than the 90s models

    In all my testing 6 is ok but 8 seems to work a little better for speed .Just make sure you have enough wire and steering to go back that far.And the cover may be a little tighter if you have one over the motor
