    echomap ultra 10sv

I looking to purchase 2 Echomap Ultra 10sv to replace my Lowrance units. One on the console and one on the bow. Im also going to add the Force trolling motor when I do the graphs. If I want to add Livescope do I only need the transducer to have the livescope at the bow?

Yes and No......There is a cheaper version of the LS transducer which is the LVS 12. That will give you only half the coverage area. Then you have the more expensive version LVS32. That will be the ducer and module. It gives you FULL coverage.

The LVS12 ducer WILL plug directly to the Ultra and can be used like that. The LVS32 ducer can NOT be plugged direct to unit, it plugs to the module and THEN to the unit with a network cable.

Thanks I couldn't find a definite answer about this. I figured I needed the box but I wanted to make sure.
