I purchased a 98 zx 202c which is is really good condition except for the dash wiring. I am looking for a wiring diagram along with any info regarding the wire colors to the switches. The previous owner had attempted to replace the switch panel along with adding toggle switches which didn’t work! I’ve replaced the panel using new plastic material suggested by Tap Plastics. I’ve also installed new rocker switches as well! I really appreciate any advice or help! Thanks a bunch!
This info may help you, depending on what the previous owner did. My 2002 ZX still has the original touch pad, working fine, but in case it quits I've checked out my wiring colors to help me later. These are the wires going from the computer (after the touch pad) to the fuse panel:
Red/Orange stripe...touchpad power switch
Blue/Black stripe...Courtesy lights
Grey/Black stripe...anchor light
Grey/Green stripe...navigation lights
Pink/Black stripe...port fuel level
Pink/White stripe...starboard fuel level
Brown/Red stripe...port fill pump
Brown/Beige stripe...starboard fill pump
Brown/Black stripe...starboard recirc. pump
Brown/ White stripe...port recirc. pump
Brown...starboard bilge
