The nightfishion rub rail system seems to have some flaws. Cost and durability. I am not sure about sticking some led strips from China on the side of the boat and making small penetrations to enter the hull/rub rail at each location. I was thinking about the plug in type. I don't mind putting 4 quality jacks in the boat. What brand are you all using? Whats your likes or dislikes? Do all have the jacks facing upwards or do some have a short cord and plug on the side of the gunnell? I know that most quality products come with a big price tag. Quality and reliability is what l am after.
