I've hunted out of climbers for 30+ years and have used about every kind imaginable. Summit gets my vote as well.

I really like the Lone Wolf Hand Climber for its lightweight and portability. Not quite as "plush" as Summit but more for the light/quick and fast crew perhaps..

    My picks
Loggy Bayou (they are no longer made)
    Summit.

    You didn't ask but
The Baker tree stand was the worst
I know I took a few amusement rides down a tree or to.

Tree lounge if you can find one. Had one years ago and sold it. Had a summit ever since.

I use a Summit Viper for gun hunting and a flip top Lone Wolf for bowhunting.

Are they still making stands? The website has everything out of stock

I’ve fallen asleep a time or two in a Summit. Very heavy and awkward to lug through the woods but very comfortable.

I have two Loggy's but several years ago I bought an Equalizer climber. By far the best tree stand I have ever had. They have a website and you can pick out the model you like and add options available on their site. A little pricey but very comfortable and it is adjustable while you are climbing! I would recommend the sling seat as an option.

What model Summit? My Goliath only weighs 21 pounds and the top and bottom nest together for packing.

I sold it many years ago so I can't remember the model. The problem was that it stuck way out on the sides too far and would catch on everything. I had to be careful when carrying my bow or it would bang against it. Very awkward to carry around.

My aluminum Summit Viper was stolen this season so I replaced it with the steel model to save a little money. It’s about 10lbs heavier and I can feel it on longer hikes to and from my hunting area

Ive never used a climber, been using lighter climbing sticks and a hangon. I feel like its fast, I can almost always go
ground to completely set up in an unprepared tree in 10 min or less, and allows me to deal with wonky branches etc. My whole rig including 4 sticks and stand gets me up 20’ or so and only weighs about 20lb total. What are the advantages of a climbing stand over a rig like this?

Depends on the terrain and available trees. I have a lock-on as well, and use it in areas where the trees have a lot of lower branches or grow wonky. My climber is waaaaay more comfortable than my lock-on. Some of the areas I hunt are old clear cut pine plantations, and I can get 30-40' up in my climber.

Another vote for Summit here. I have a Viper and although I haven't used it in years, it's quite secure and comfortable. I was hesitant about even getting a climber as I'm terrified of heights but after testing one and feeling quite secure, I bought one. It's a bit heavier than some but a worthwhile trade off for me.
