    Prop Slip

There are prop slip calculators here, there and everywhere, but they don't mean as much if you don't enter the right numbers into the equation. I run a bravo 1xs and they are known to be loose in pitch #'s. So if I am running a 30, do I use 28,28.5,29 in the slip calculator. What if I had cup added, do I add or subtract a .5-1" pitch in the formula?

Allways add 1 inch of pitch to the prop pitch. A 30P Bravo1 should be 31 on the calc.

From everything I’ve ever heard about the bravo is that a 30 is equal to a 28 of other props or 28 = a 26. Had a prop guy actually tell me 28.5 bravo was in reality like 27.375.

Depends where you measure pitch on the blade. Props have pitch progression that changes accross the blade....

You add 1" of pitch for any cupped prop on a calculator.
