    In regards to attaching the strut mount to the lid, I am thinking you can use epoxy or even silicone to attach a plate to run the screws into.

    Nice work and clean installation. Did all my lids on my 119 last year and glad I did. Got 5200 to put on the lid brackets but never needed it just pre drilled and hand tightened screws, one year in still tight.
    I got my parts through Ranger, just make sure you ask what pound rating they are sending for shocks, they seem to send very high pressure ones which is overkill and will rip the screws out. 10# will do most small lids and 40# does the big lids.
