I really like my Okuma Scott Martin TCS Mat Daddy rod. I got the 7'11" Heavy. It handles what you mention with ease. It's pretty light and sensitive for the money. They are being closed out all over the place and can be had for a good price if you look around.

What kind of price point you want to be in? I just picked up a Dobyn’s 795 Extreme for just this purpose, haven’t fished it yet but feels like a good fit in hand. I have a Dobyn’s 765 Champion Flip I’m looking to sell if you’re interested, haven’t listed yet.

It's quite a bit heavier than the Ark rod.

I have the original Mojo 7'11" Mod Fast "Flipping" rod and I don't like the action at all for flipping applications. I know some guys prefer a slower action but I like a faster action to drive the hook on a short quick set. It also isn't very sensitive. I use it as a frog rod and like it for that. It can bomb them a mile and has a ton of power/backbone when you get into it.

Peruse the Swap/sell Thread. You can find some sweet deals. I have one listed.

In that price range, the Dobyns Champion 766 Flip or 805 Flip/Punch. I really like the 805 with full handle for punching. It isn't real tip heavy even with 1-1/2 ounce weights.

    ^^^ This

The Dobyns Champion 805 Flip/Punch is a beast of a rod that's nicely balanced. I use it for punching with 2oz tungsten weights with great results.

The 805 was suggested to me and I would have to tell you that it is very balanced
I want to re-emphasize that I’m not a fan of Dobyns from my experience but I’m a fan of this stick
I think it will be great for you
