Suggestions on a new jerkbait rod

Im looking for some ideas on what jerkbait rod i should get. I have some deep jerkbaits and the rod that i normally use for jerkbaits just doesnt seem to handle them very well. If anybody has any ideas i would really appeeciate the help.

    thanks for the ideas

Without question, the Shimano Expride 6’10 M. Works great for top waters also.

X2 ALX Zolo jerkbait this rod cast great and has a slightly shorter handle so it don’t catch your clothes when working a bait.

Another vote for the ALX Zolo.

I guess there is a question about the Shimano.

If you're on a budget, the Abu Garcia Ike Series 6-4 M is a great rod. Full retail is $150 but with some looking they can be had for cheaper.

Love the orochi series but the new levantes are gone. Durability issues maybe

really can't see spending a huge amount of money on a jerkbait rod? Sensitivity is not needed, so why go big???
    It's all about action/power/length.
I throw deep jerks up on Erie, and when using a baitcast rod, I use a $60 13 Fishing Defy 7'1" MH. It has a nice moderate action, but still has the guts to handle deep jerks, and a nice tip action to throw them.
I usually use a spinning rod though. Falcon LFS-4-17's

X3, I have 2 of them now. Somewhat faster action which works well for deep diving JB's. It also works fine for the medium divers too. And it's an American company.

I've had two models I've really liked over the years, have a couple of each:

    - Gloomis IMX 6'8" TWR Med Fast (Or 6'9" JBR)
    - Alpha Angler Slasher 6'10" Med Fast
