    Pine Creek

    I'm anticipating a trip this spring to Pine Creek Lake for the first time. Only recreational fishin, any pointers?

    Okielure,

    Conditions could vary a lot in the spring. Last spring the lake was high until June and it is 15 feet high today. When the time gets closer PM me and I will try to help.

    Draw days are a bummer as the lake can drop fast which it did on the one day I fished it last year.
    Water was stained. Had good luck on crank baits and spinnerbaits. We caught 15 with 3+ our biggest.
    Local said the bite was off due to draw. 4+ was his biggest.
    It has to be a good crappie lake too but I wouldn’t know anything about that.

    Camping is available but motels are not. We stayed in Broken Bow to fish it.
