    What prop for 2008 20i?

    Hey guys!
I've been running a 25t prop worked by Croxton on my Skeeter 20i with a 250 hpdi and manual jack plate. I can't get more than 5300 to 5400 rpms. I run heavy (a lot of tackle) but should get more rpms. I feel like I need a 23t prop but I don't think that exists. What are my options? Thanks

I have an 06' 20i and run a 25P-T1 B&B with Croxton as well. It sounds like you're not running it high enough. I'm 2.25" below pad and run at 6000 rpm.

My advice try raising your motor to get those rpms up. Try that first.

I forgot to mention that I've tried running with motor only 1.5 inches below pad and everything in between and did not make a difference. I've had all filters changed and injectors cleaned and still can't get above 5400 rpms.

Can you confirm your prop is actually a stock 25P and wasn't previously re-pitched to 26?

Something sounds a bit off somewhere. When you raise your motor you should be able to see a difference in RPMs even if it's only a bit. I know if i raise mine any further RPMs go up and gets too close to the 6150 limit so i dropped it back down to 2.25 to keep it at 6050. That works for me.

When i sent my prop to Croxton it was a stock T1-25 i asked for more cup to be added and then had it B&B too. I know initially i was getting 5600 RPMs but then i realized i was running it too low. I raised it up to 2.25 below pad and i'm now happy with the setup.

It's a 25-T1 that I sent to croxton explaining that I couldn't get rpms and I run heavy. I also ran a brand new prop with no change in rpms.

Make sure your getting full wide open throttle. Sometimes the cables stretch or hot foot needs adjusting

It appears the butterflies are completely open. I guess that's why I'm looking at a lower pitched prop as I'm not sure what else to do.

+1 on the 25-T1. My 07 ran great with that prop.
