Last open water trip of the season for me was late November, but it treated us well. Started off the day smashing out ice for awhile as just the launch was frozen, but it was worth it. Fished the Connecticut River here in New Hampshire, water was a balmy 37 degrees, but the smallies were still hungry! Best producing bait was dragging a Beast Coast Magic Flick on a drop shot, but the blade bait and a little swimbait also pulled some smallies up. Enjoy!
