    Patoka

Took advantage of the decent weather earlier this week and was able to spend a few afternoon hours on the lake. Got into a decent jerkbait bite picking up four fish with a couple of them being chunks! Had a pretty nice afternoon...... 46 degree water.

I'm surprised the water is that warm. Its probably going to be a mud hole after this weekend though.

Lots of rocks on that bank and the sun was hitting it hard that afternoon, I came out of my cold weather gear pretty fast!

Drove to Frenchlick this afternoon and looked the lake over, muddy water pouring in, I’m glad I was able to get out last week!

Weather bug is giving chance of rain tues thru sat.again, All rivers and creeks in the White River watershed is butt ugly flooded and not due to go down till Friday. More rain will send all lakes thru the roof high again.

Wow, that gives me hope for tomorrow. Planning on crappie fishing and if I don't have any luck I'll be switching to bass. Lake level looks to be about 2.5' above where it was last week and a little over 5' above summer pool.

Some areas were 41.5 and some were 43 degrees..... water clarity wasn’t bad at all, lake has that cold green tea color.....
