    New personal best! XB21 2+2 300R

This run was last Saturday morning. Its really rare to get all the conditions to line up to make a run like this.

    Congrats Jay!!!!

It only took 8 days to finally do it. I landed in Dallas on the Dec. 27th and I think we lived in our boats until the Jan. 5th when I went home. On New Years Eve when Tim went home and I pulled up at your house to get the boat and head to the lake with Tim, I was actually tired of driving the boat and testing props. It was an intense trip.........

Jay runs an abnormally high amount of tackle. We pulled some out for these runs. I would still call it a fishing load. He had all his poles and "other" gear in the boat, and an average amount of tackle. It wasn't light cleaned out run. Batteries and troller all still in the boat.

I bet he was around a quarter of a tank or a little more. He was running a little under 1/2 tank when we started and I burned 10 gallons. We ran a similar number of passes.

Honestly guys, Jays boat is probably the most impressive XB21 I have ever seen. It just kills it on top end. He has always put up just stupid numbers with it. And it's always loaded. We don't have current on this lake and the wind was blowing just enough to give us a slight ripple. So a pretty awesome number.

We are going to weight are boats back to back in a few weeks. It will be interesting to see.

So stable! There's a video on Youtube with a guy in Brazil doing over 100 mph with a 400, but that boat was was over all the place and eventually flipped, lucky no injuries. Allison the No1, no contest!

It was a very intense series of testing days. Challenging with all the weather issues as well.

As Geoff stated I did remove tackle that has not been used in more than 2 years but still had everything except 1 box of topwater and frogs that I use. They are stored for a few more months lol. I started the testing with approximately 15 gallons and this particular pass had around 10 gallons in it. I still run lead acid batteries (3) and a Ulterra on the bow as well. No water in the wells though.
