It's an airboat playgroung right now.
My FIL says they are still fighting over rules and regs.
When I was there a few weeks ago still Kayak only and politics.
They’ve got a bunch of earth moving equip there doing work. When I was stopped at the ramp the other day at the stick marsh by an employee of fwc, he said the equipment is building the lot area now and it’s expected to be open within 6 months. So that means several more years.

Ramp, parking area bathrooms being built now, finished this summer. Per TCPalm
Palm Beach Pete on youtube does an update every month or so on the area. As of July 2019 the new ramp was supposed to be open by now Jan 2020. more hang ups, but he actually goes there about once a month.

Latest rumor is that when it does open. there will be a 25mph speed limit. Not sure how a larger bass boat can stay on plane going that slow without trim tabs.
