I got a free one once upon a time and I broke it the first time I tried to use it. So it wasn’t even worth what I paid for it ( nothing)
Have a Blessed Day,

Plastic one is only good to beat back the early am ramp lot lizards with.
The back end of that plastic prop wrench makes a good tool for opening locked truck doors.

No! Cheap socket and 1/2in breaker bar both for the prop nut and lug nuts.

Used mine several years now and check for line often behind my prop... no issues

No one can be wrong that often so it has to be deliberate.
I keep a cheap a 1/2” drive ratchet, extension, and appropriate socket in the boat along with the plastic one just in case....

It sure is..... I carry a breaker bar with a 3/4" deep socket for the trailer lugs, a 13/16" for the truck lugs, socket for prop and 2 small pieces of 2x4 (for under the jack for trailer) I actually carry around a small bottle jack too and keep a can of wd/40 in the boat. Spray the lugs with wd/40 before removing and this will help with the lug nuts not getting stuck in the socket which can be a pain when sitting on the side of the road.

Good point. I like the impact sockets but they don't fit on some wheels and always check first. They do make some decent wheel sockets that even have a plastic sleeve to not damage the wheels. One thing that I make sure is to get a 6 point socket and not a 12 point for lug nuts and always test first and that some cars/trucks are metric.
