    Champion 206 Deck Extension

Anyone out there who has a handle on a clever and clean idea for a deck extension for a Champion 206?

    Thank you,

    Tom

Do you mean to go on top of the step-up to the front deck?

CHeck with Carol at C&O Marine..a BBC sponsor. Champion used to make one and C&O may still have one in their large stock of Champion parts/supplies.

If they don’t have one, we have several folks here who have made their own, and I am sure they will be here to help you.

I have used 3/4 plywood and carpeted it, works great , cheap and strong and easy to work with.

I know a guy that has made one. I might make one too but hope it's not a PITA removing it to get drinks and food.

I like it a lot. Been think about multiple designs. Problem is my Axle just broke so I am out of commission for a bit.

For y’all that have built your own enclosure, how are you securing them to the boat?

The guy that made his is not secured to anything. It's a snug fit and stays put he said.
