As many as those things I use this would be worthwhile.....
I'll have to do some research on the neds....totally different material....BUT.....
One of these days I might get into bait making. But darn those molds arent exactly cheap and ive already got a bundle of hobbies.
Im curious if you could design and make your own mold using a 3d printer ? Having something I custom created would appeal to me more than just off the shelf molds.
I wonder if Gary Yamamoto still sponsors his show?
2007 Bass Cat Pantera IV
2018 G3 Sportsman 1710
I just finished up watching this video when I saw this thread.
Go Gators!
What was the name of the mold manufacturer???... Couldn't quite catch the name... Dan
Senkos are the hardest baits to reproduce. They have salt/sand in them and that salt/sand A. Sinks quickly to the bottom of your Pyrex making it hard to shoot a consistent bait and B. Sinks to the bottom your bait furthermore making it hard to get a consistent bait. Don’t watch this video and think you will make a bait with the same action as a real senko. It is very hard to do, even if you were using only left over senkos as your plastic.
I got the 4” and 5” molds
real senkos are hard to imitate. Mine are ok and do just fine for me
Maybe Gary doesn’t sponsor him anymore but Spike It does now
Some say just cause it’s shaped like a Senko don’t really make it a senko
More like a yum dinger with a DO IT stamp on the band.
I think Yamamoto uses a certain kind of salt and has a way that keeps it evenly distributed. Not as simple as melting them down and repouring them. They might be similar but they won’t be the exact same bait.
