    101.3 TR 196

    2005 TR 196 200 Sho, Hydro Tec Marine 7000 rpm flash, Hydrotec coned lower unit, fatshaft conversion, solid motor mounts. Driven by Chris Bailey, CB Marine. Driver, 250 lbs of ballast, little bit of gear, no troller. End of video he is showing that no, there is no nitrius!!

    That motor has been flashed by Hydrotech, it is making well over 300 hp. Good running there guys!!

    His steering corrections are faster than my brain waves at my advanced age which is why mine seldom goes over 55.

    They Have tested these motors, not this one in particular, and they make right at 350 hp

    If you watch, esp over 90, he doesn’t make many corrections. We run the jackplate up to close to 2.5” above, the coned lower helps the boat handle really well. Very little chine walk. My best so far in the boat is 99.4. That is also pretty light without a trolling motor. Working on running it with a fishing load now.
