The person that posted this is the owner of the boat not the driver, I know this driver personally and you do not have a clue of his abilities or what he has done from past to present here so I suggest you keep your comments to yourself like you could have and just move on from this thread.

Yes it was. As mentioned above, there was some of my gear, 250 lbs of ballast plus driver.

I didn't think it was a crazy question...anything can happen...especially at those speeds.

I try to prepare myself for the "what if I crash" scenario EVERY time I drive a vehicle...any vehicle...much less a bass boat going over 100 MPH.

I hope the man never crashes...and he is one hell of a driver...but you have to think that he is at greater risk of crashing when operating a boat at those speeds.

Edit: After watching the video....I would LOVE to see your Trim gauge....

No trim gauge. The blinker switch you can see is for the hydraulic jack plate. He was running in a lake. Any boats in that 1000’ wide channel, you need really good water to run, he won’t run it like that. He wears a life line life jacket, helmet and kill switch. Worse case he gets thrown from the boat. There was nothing to crash into. Lots of people not into this. This is the Yamaha High Performance page. Thanks for your concern.

I will respectfully disagree with you on this, his reference of crazy was not necessary and his assumptions were based on being uneducated about the subject.

Oh...that's interesting, never expected there to be no trim.

There is a trim switch on the opposite side of the steering, just don’t have a gauge for it.

The only thing that makes it a 200 is the sticker on the cowling.
