Yes Sir... he is our Florida BBC chamber of commerce representative. He will be able provide you great knowledge.

On a serious note. If you want to avoid traffic avoid central Florida. Even up here in Ocala it is horrible now.

Man, the traffic in central FL and the buffet buzzards......ya gotta go and give yourself some time down there driving around and learning the state. It’s a beautiful place with great weather, great people and it’s a shi# place with overcrowded cities too. Like anywhere, there’s diversity.
I’ve been going to FL all my life... I love it! Just haven’t chosen to plant my tent stakes there. It’s amazing how I still get excited crossing into the state and see those silly ole’ oranges on the welcome signs.
    good luck!!

Someday FL.is going to snap off up around the panhandle and float away due to all of the new residents. Where orange groves used to be are now housing developments, malls, car lots but what you do not see is more infrastructure to support the growth. So come on down and maybe you will be the 1 that adds just enough weight to cause the state to dislodge from the rest of the US.

Definitely some beautiful places down there but eventually seems like it will be one big chunk of concrete with houses stacked on top of one and other. I thought about retiring down there but by the time I retired it's not going to be what I'm looking for. I'm thinking about Texas now. But I'll still come and fish in Florida for now.

Wait till it's 95deg with 100% humidity down here. With no breeze. Tell me how much you like it then. And also after you pay the "impact fee" on you vehicles and the high Homeowners Insurance rates, you will love it...LOL
