    150 hpdi spark plug question.

I have a 2006 150 hpdi. It has roughly 100hrs on it. I pulled the spark plugs today and they all look like this. Is this pretty normal looking for a hpdi? 20200103_205331.jpg20200103_205339.jpg

That is a decent amount of carbon. Have you ever done a de-carbon treatment of seafoam or similar?

Yup, that's what the plugs always looked like on my 250 HPDI. Now on my 250 SHO they always look brand new after 100 hours.

just done service on my 150 HPDI's and that's about spot on. Change mine every 100 hrs with all the fuel filters. I do run ring free every tank and non-ethanol fuel 600hrs and still running strong.

Thanks. I have no idea how old these plugs were since I bought the engine used.
