    Lake Eufaula

I was thinking of making it down that way in June. Is the ledge bite on then? My wife and 8 yr old daughter would probably also make the trip. Can anyone recommend a decent wife friendly place to stay for 3 or 4 days?

    Thank you!

State park is nice. Cabins, motel rooms, or camping. Places to charge your boat in the parking lot. Never had a problem there.

Not many motels there best that I can remember.

A cabin would be nice especially if close to a launch.

State park has a launch on site, small bait shop, and plenty of parking.

One of the best ramp and parking areas I have ever seen. State Park is a great home base. Lots of local eateries as well. Enjoy your stay.

Make sure you eat at the Cajun Corner and River City grill for dinner. Doughnut King for breakfast. Voted best doughnuts in the state of Alabama.

Elites will be there June 2-5. That would probably not be a good time to go.
Also the cottages on the lake are fantastic at Lake Point.

Eufaula is my "home" lake. Like most are saying, the Lodge at the State Park is the best bet for many reasons. If not, the Hampton Inn right next to Walmart is another good place to stay. If you look at the pictures online of the other places to stay, they look great, and they are, but the areas aren't the best.

If nothing is available at lakepoint check on availability at Florence marine campground on Georgia side.

Booked one of the fisherman 2 bedroom cabins at Lake Point. Looking forward to it, never been there before.

Lakemaster if you have humminbird otherwise, c-map/navionics. Humminbird is headquartered in Barbour creek.

As the time approaches if anyone wants to share any info on what the fish are doing it would be appreciated. I have been researching as much as possible and studying a map of the lake but real data from local anglers is the best source.

Just back from being down there for 4 days. I caught fish but didn’t find the schools or big ones that I had hoped for. Fishing was pretty tough “for me at least” while there. I learned a lot about the lake and hopefully can build on that and make it an annual trip. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
