Well, like I said in the other thread, that don't fix a damn thing. They haven't had anyone stand up to JJ since Jimmy Johnson. So until they get someone non-family between the front office and the field, expect the SOS.

I could have sworn I seen a video of JJ taking a swing at Jerry back then...Or was that wishful thinking?

Nothing confirmed, but Jerry continues to steal headlines. Their playing season has sputtered to a halt, but the cowboys machine is in overdrive right now, dominating local news and sports radio. I don't buy his product, but even after all these years I still find Jerry's business sense to be astonishing. Seriously

Cliff, he has always been the ultimate promoter. He knows exactly how to keep the spotlight on the Cowboys, keep the fans spending money on a product that doesn’t give much back as far as winning. If you are one that settles for mediocrity, drama etc. being a cowboy fan is perfect. I’ve been done with them for a long time, I like to see them lose every game.

You have a lot of patience if you're just now getting fed up with it. It's been that way for 25 years.

I was done with them around the time they brought in Quincy Carter. I held out hope for a couple more years, but I'd pretty much checked out by 2005. I went to one more game in 2010 and I nearly lost my voice yelling for them to put McGee in the game . I left at halftime and haven't been back since.

Btw, even Jerry knows if you want to get the job done you better hire a cheesehead!

Thought is was handled just like he handles the team. A really weird fire and hire situation. Hope it works out for the best.

It was a typical Jerry event , lots of bull and drama during the playoffs to keep him in the spotlight.

Probably the best decision out of the Cowboy camp since Jimmy Johnson. I have been a fan all my life, and remain one.
I know Jones is all about press and money

Cowboys fan all my life...………………..NFL is a business, PERIOD. Jerry is the best owner of all time. He has a current ROI around 3,400%. Say what you will , he knows what he is doing in the business of the NFL.
