    Fake Name Brand Spark Plugs

    This link was in the Yamaha forum, but is to a thread in the Mercury forum by Don Weed. Apparently some bargain NGK spark plugs available through Amazon and ebay could be fake. Worth the look if you are a DYIer.

    Interesting. I bought some on Amazn for around $30 a while back. My motor ran great until recently. I will be checking the plugs for any issues

    Been seeing a lot of "Chinese" fuel pumps on Ebay and Amazon for outboards they look legit but won't pump fuel.

    May be accurate. Bought 6 off the net for the yam. Had a misfire at WOT.
