    Power Pole install time

    looking at getting a set of poles. how long roughly is the install on a pair? pretty mechanically inclined and plan to do the install myself.

    It took me about 3 hours to install a pair including drilling 4 holes for the hoses

    most with a decent mechanical ability can have a set done in about 2 to 2.5 hours on average. All depends how much you may or may not have to move in the bilge to fit pumps. If you have to rearrange the bilge it may be longer.

    Not sure how long it took but want bad at all . The. Hardest part was choosing where to make my holes . And haveing the balls to do it . Basically just a bolt on accessory

    Took me almost all day but I did have a broke leg and on crutches at the time. Still not a bad job hopping around on 1 leg.

    Did mine in four hours, but I had to move a battery to install the pumps.

    took me about 6 hours but did not have a jack plate so had to pull the motor, biggest thing is not to be in a rush

    agreed and my install time quoted was for a sidemount jackplate application.

    Lots of things can work into the time it takes to install them. For instance, if your JP bolts are froze up and you end up breaking them. It takes time to get the JP parts needed and get them installed while the motor is hanging off of it. Another could be the pump location you chose, easy access or difficult to get to and tighten things up.
