January 1st 2020 open water Bass

I couldn't resist today, 40 degrees and windy out, but we had open water after all that rain we had.

I went to Rogers Lake in Old Lyme, Ct., Jerkbaiting, 37.8 degree water.

I caught 3 decent Bass, 4 Pickeral, 4 Perch and a nice Calico bass, I also lost a giant pickeral, looked like it was at least 5 pounds.

I hope the weather stays like this, it helps with the cabin fever.

I'm sure it felt great to get out on the boat again.

Yeh, it was cold, but I found a area out of the wind and they were biting pretty good.
