We have made it a tradition to try to be on the water on the 1st of Jan every year.

Today the water temps were between 61 and 63 (surface) , the water was very clear, and about 12 inches low. Temps at the ramp were 30 to 33 degrees.

It was not a great day but in a few hours I managed 2 fish. One about 10 inches and the other was 4 lbs on my scale. The first one was on a spinner bait, the bigger one was on a topwater hollow bodied frog.

Better Luck Next Time !!!
