Anything new in the dual bow mount world?

Looking to make a few graph changes over the off season to the 721. I want to add a second graph at the bow for Livescope. Looking for opinions on what guys have learned from different setups. How do the dual mounts affect factory covers? The biggest thing is I fish rough water like Erie and St Clair a ton. I worry about them being able to hold up long term. Here are the two that originally caught my eye. The Dek it looks like it might be a little more stable for rough water but that is just a guess.

I noticed the BBT mount makes you pick the graphs when ordering. That is concerning to me as I don't know that I want to be married to the configuration without trying as far as top graph and lower. Also don't know that I want to buy a new mount every time I buy a new graph.

Precision Sonar does Dual Bow mounts on Phoenix Boats all the time. When using the Patented Smart Brackets from Precision Sonar, you don't have to be "married" to the units you originally choose as the Smart Brackets are adjustable to different units

I have the bass boat technologies mount. I originally had a helix 9 and 7 on it but ended up selling the 7 and went with a 12. I was able to switch out where the 7 was and put the 9 in that spot but had issues with the trolling motor cable catching it every time I deployed it. So I drilled 2 new holes in the mount and moved the 9 over a little to accommodate. 2 other holes still lined up so it’s still fastened with 4 bolts.

I’m pretty sure with the setups guys posted that you can’t stack dual 12” graphs without obstructing the trolling motor. Which is why you see 9” and smaller for the top graph. Keep that in mind.

that looks sharp. How do you think it would handle rough water? Also, how about cover fitment afterwards?

I fish big water (Mille Lacs and Great Lakes) and don’t have any issues. If those locators are coming off they are taking the whole bow shroud with it. Covers go on no problem and I still have room to put cover straps on for my added security when trailering.

I should note that I did beef up this mount. If you are familiar with BBT mounts, the console mounts come with 2 plates and they fasten together with the plastic shroud sandwiched between them. Where their bow mounts just come with one plate and screw into the plastic bow shroud plate. I ended up just making a second plate identical to the BBT plate so the bow shroud plate sandwiches in between them. (Hope that makes sense) So it won’t come off unless the entire bow shroud breaks off.

Sorry I misread that. I don’t use a cover so I’m not sure on that.

I have a dual BBT mount with a Solix 12 and Solix 15 on the bow - rock solid. Cover fits but I did have to make it bigger when I got the 360.

I'll get some photos posted, and no issue with the cover.

You can use what ever graphs you want only problem you might have is if go biggest they might hit each other so get a mount for two 12” then you should be able to interchange mine was set up for two hds 7” I run a hds 9 and hummingbird 7”

    Cooker,
Looks nice> Any chance you have a picture from the side that shows the mount and where it’s attached to the deck?
