Top End 2018 Z21

What kind of top end speed are you guys getting that have a Z21 w a 250 optimax. I have (2) 12 ft talons on back an ultrex and a manuel jack plate w a 24 p 3 blade prop. I have trouble hitting 60.

I can hit 60 MPH with our Z18 150 Merc.

You should see 68 to 71. What’s your P to P?

RPMs? Imagine the 24p is a little stiff.

Edit: Actually I forget the Optimax liked the 24p.

I have the same setup with an adjustable JP, at 3.25" P2P I run at 67 with a Fury 3 24P at 5800 RPM. I hit 68 withe the Bravo 1XS 26P at 5750 RPM and it gets me on plane a lot better. These are tourney loaded numbers.
