    Champion Restore

I have my first ever Champion in my shop. Doin some gel restoration and a few other things. This is the only Champ I’ve ever had my hands on and all i can say is this a great built boat !! Ive always heard how good they ride. I have a new respect for these boats after being around one. It’s a shame I can’t take it out for a spin.

It’s a 2004 203/250 Yamaha. Original owner, white blue flake with alpha jewel.

After I posted, I thought you might be working on a customer's boat. Glad you like our Champs, tho! I am not on Kerr or Gaston often, but am hoping for a trip or two this coming year. My red Champ is hard to miss....

All i can say is Wow. I picked my boat up yesterday from Ted in Kenly. The boat looks like it did when it was brand new back in 2003. Sure it still has some dings from the years of use, but it is super slick and has the shine back in the gel coat like it did long ago. My boat has been garage kept since new. all the white on the boat was not as white as it used to be and the blue did not seem to shine like it used too. Ted fixed all that just like he said he would.

Ted was very professional, did exactly what he said he would do and did the work very quickly once the boat was at his shop. Great Job Ted. thank you.

Thanks for the good words !! Pics do not do this boat justice. It’s been very well kept and was just a little faded and needed some correction. Engine also needed a little sanding...all good now !!!
