Ranger RT178 Aluminum Series Carpet Change

My first boat and did not realize the damage the Florida Sun can do when left uncovered.
My gray carpet is now blackish/gray.

I want to put in new carpet or Seadeck. Is this a DIY job or should I leave to the professionals?
    Lake Okeechobee area.

Anyone with experience hiring someone in this area?

Kinda depends on how much time you have and how handy you are.

My confidence level tells me to save the $$ and do it myself. However, just not knowing enough, I hate to start it and realize it’s more than I want to tackle.
I would like to get some estimates and see if it breaks the bank or is a reasonable expense I can justify to the wife.

Always cheaper to do yourself. Just don't let your wife see how handy you are, honeydoos are imminent. lol
