    Does anybody still fish lizards?

I've noticed that the lizard don't get as much love as it did years ago. I still throw on in the early spring but that's about it. A friend of mine fishes a junebug colored one 9 months out of the year with pretty good success.

Is a lizard still part of your arsenal?

I've recently started using them. At first I only used them on a c-rig but this time out of desperation I tied on a zoom mag lizard in avacado 1/4 weight and t'rigged it
Got the bigger bites immediately... Said it must have been by happenstance but the lizard gets me bit and sometimes better than the creature baits.
Im using a ZBone, D7 combo with floro.

I hear that Xcite baits is launching a lizard and I am anxious to get my hands on it.
The best lizard is no longer sold ( best in my opinion and if you look at the design you'll see a difference. ( Wave Worm ) and they were better to me than the Zoom )

I throw a Zoom 4" in green pumpkin on banks with hard cover such as gravel or small chunk rock.

Still in my arsenal. Z-Man makes a lizard, I like to cut off the head and fish it on a Shroom head. Very effective early spring bait around here.

I still love to throw a lizard on a C-Rig. For me, during late spring into summertime, I love the lizard as a good bait to work as one of my primary on points and humps.

I start throwing them as soon as the beds start showing up on Okeechobee.

Your friend is a wise man. No need to reinvent the wheel.

Love me some 6" Junebug Zoom lizards.

Nope they don’t work anymore I would just move on if I was you. Maybe buy some of those expensive new baits that whoever your favorite pro is is trying to sell

My OFB and I fish 4", 5" and 6" Zoom lizards all Spring > Fall. For several years, my #1 producer was a 5" GP lizard on a Shakyhead. For many years before that, I Splitshot 4" & 5" Zoom lizards and found them to be deadly. OFB started Dropshotting them with good results, but often the 4", which encourages Yellow Perch and Rockbass. I've also C'rigged a 6" lizard for almost all the C'rigging I've done, with pretty good results. I think I caught a LM on Duck Lake my first ever cast with a "Bubba" C'rig. Nice thing is they are easy to rig so they don't roll.
Don't bother me, I'm screwing for virginity.

I killed a 12-pack just to watch it die.
