Ditto -- Not sure how he runs a business that everyone raves about, and then also does this on the side (and everyone raves about it as well)??? Definitely has to take up a lot of his time that he could spend elsewhere. Not many would do that.

Thanks Don for all your help and guidance. You've for sure helped me with issues on this forum!

I agree. Very grateful to have Don around here. I am not sure we fully realize how much he helps.

Yep. This board is invaluable. Heartfelt thanks to Don, Savage, Joe, Silverfox,... (just for starters).

Agree, nice having someone to bounce things off of and to supplement the factory service manual.

let me throw in my two cents about Don.I called Don first of Nov.to find out if I had any warranty left on my Verado. He said Platium warranty expires on 12-10-19.I carried my boat down on a Friday. He called me on a Tuesday and said he had figured out the problem, downloaded the PCM and sent it to Mercury. They are going to replace the powerhead and other items.Don did alot to get this ready so it was all covered under warranty before it expired.I bought my first boat in 1974.I've owned a dozen boats and had issues with all of them.I can honestly say that European Marine no doubt the BEST dealer I have ever done business with.I'm certain that the dealers around home would have never gotten it in to look at it before the warranty expired. I used Don before and have always got very professional and very dependable service.A GREAT PLACE TO DO BUSINESS WITH.And I live 6 hrs away from them.Thank You Don

Don is the man, no telling how many folks I've sent here because of Don, Joe, Savage and others who share their knowledge and time.

I’ve taken my boat up there to him and it’s 3.5 hours away. He got Mercury to cover the parts needed even though the motor was out of warranty a few months. It had a bad motor mount and adapter plate( the one under the power head). I had a bunch other items i had to replace due to someone installing the engine without washers so the mounting nuts ate into the motor brackets- ouch those were expensive. While there i had him check my injectors and he found 2 bad. The steering had excessive movement so that had to get rebuilt also. Expensive to say the least but haven't had any issues with any of his work.

I’ve taken my dad’s boat to him from florida to have the stainless steel reeds replaced with fiber ones and check his injectors.

Top notch guy and tells you the issues without sugar coating it. I tell everyone I know to call and take it to him.
Sometimes I need my ATV when in my boat and sometimes I need my boat while riding my ATV.
