    Bassmaster Classic

    Planning to attend the classic and looking to get a hotel outside of Birmingham. Is there any areas to stay away from?

    You can come a little east to Pell City. It’s right off I-20 and you can be at Guntersville in less than an hour. Plus you have plenty of eating places and of course a Walmart. You can visit the Leeds Al. BPS from there too.

    Me and my wife and kids are staying in Homewood. Its on the southside of Birmingham. Plenty of stuff to do and eat in the area and the commute to BJCC isnt too bad (i hope) not really from the area.

    There’s two hotels adjacent to bjcc. One is Sheraton, the other is a Westin. There’s also the Grand Bohemian in mountain brook near the zoo. That’s like 10 minutes away.
